Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our honour and pleasure to invite you to the upcoming Tetranational Congress on Phytotherapy, this time being held in the Netherlands. Phytotherapy 2024 is a joint congress organized by the 4 societies of the Swiss, German, Austrian and Dutch Societies of Phytotherapy.
Inspired by the One Health concept, the theme of the upcoming conference is “Herbal Products in Human and Animal Health Care” with a focus on infection and immunity. This theme comes at the right time in the current era of an increasing number of infections that are becoming difficult to combat, partly due to emerging antibiotic resistance that questions the efficacy of common treatment protocols and phenomena such as biofilm formation. We therefore, invite interested parties from human and veterinary internal medicine and preclinical and pharmaceutical science, to contribute to the exchange of knowledge and experience about the significance and contribution of herbal products and phytotherapy in human and animal healthcare. As congress venue we have selected the historical Academy Building of Utrecht University, which is located next to the Cathedral and the historical monastery, with its characteristic (herbal) gardens in the center of Utrecht. Hotel and B&B accommodation for participants is available within walking distance.
